When we made the decision to sell off some more of our lifetime collections a few months ago, our hopeful expectations also carried a measure of apprehension: would anyone actually want our stuff?Our interaction with the good and able folks at Trainz has been nothing short of extraordinary - every member of the Trainz Team we made contact with proved to be gracious, competent, and knowledgeable. The many rudimentary inquiries we made were met with patience and wisdom - answers were honest, accurate, and to the point.We believe the assessed value and subsequent offer to purchase were fair to everyone involved.Even the shipping, which we anticipated would be the most formidable task we faced, was met by your well-prepared workers, the entire process going off, as they say, without a hitch.We approached several potential buyers (many of them geographically closer to us) prior to our contact with Trainz, but none of those situations proved workable. And that, we believe, was for the best. Here is my simple take: even though Buford, Georgia, is approximately 1700 miles from us here in Port Rowan, Ontario, it often felt like we were dealing with people who were in the next county, rather than six states away.
