Features: die-cast boiler & tender bodies, constant voltage headlight, die-cast truck sides, Precision Pittman Flywheel Equipped Motor, redesigned remote controlled Proto-Coupler, metal handrails & decorative whistle, lighted cab interior, metal engineer & fireman figures, redesigned operating ProtoSmoke system, operates on O-72 curves, measures approximately 30" x 2 3/4" x 4". equipped with Proto-Sound 2.0 with digital command system featuring speed & light control, diagnostic memory, remotely-controlled Proto-Coupler & passenger station Proto-Effects.
First introduced in the early 20th century, the 4-8-4 to rail yards by storm primarily hauling coal and other forms of freight across state lines in the US and rail-ways in various other countries. While later models would improve on the 4-8-4's limitation, this locomotive still made its place in history as a pioneer of 20th century rail-road industry, and is featured in some museums today as a testament to how far the industry has truly come!
These items have been graded per TCA standards C-8: Like New. These items appear to have been run sparingly, and display overall signs of very light previous use. The original paint is in great shape, and each unit displays a like-new overall finish. Due to the date of manufacture, the buyer may need to replace the battery. The instruction manual is included.
